I'm using Motion Instruments equipment with their Motion IQ software. This is now in the hands of at least 7 World Cup DH teams. It's being used by Yeti, Ibis, Cannondale and others at the bike design stages. It is the bomb!

The equipment is relatively cheap to buy and I'm sure that over the next few years it will be something all pro's have. It is a bit of an outlay though and learning to read the data is not as simple as it's portrayed. Just because a bike is balanced does not mean it's balanced well!

"a total game changer"

Working together

Motion IQ does not attempt to tell you how to set your bike up and neither will I. You are very much the expert.

Data is simply a tool that turns what you feel into numbers. Once the bike is quantified it is much easier to see whether minor adjustments make an improvement or not.

At this level it if very much a scientific process.

test - adjust - analyse - repeat

I'm very keen to work with and learn from  athletes at the top of the sport. If you're racing at elite level drop me a line and we'll see what we can work out.

One Giant Leap Llangollen is fairly ideal in terms of getting laps without any pressure of time constraints. It's really going to depend what you are preparing for though.

I'm well placed to work from:

Revolution Bike Park

Antur Stiniog

Foel Gasnach

Dyfi Bike Park

For further afield drop me a message and we'll see what we can work out.
